Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data Nastrotek collects from visitors to nastrotek.net, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Nastrotek does not require an account to read articles or browse resources. Most visits involve no personal data beyond standard technical information sent by your browser (IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, referring site).
If you purchase a paid resource, we collect the email address you provide so we can confirm your bank transfer and deliver download access. If you comment on an article, the comment system (hosted on GitHub Discussions) collects your GitHub username and comment content under GitHub's own privacy terms.
If you contact Nastrotek by email, we keep the content of that conversation to respond to you and, where relevant, follow up on a project discussion.
Cookies and similar technologies
Nastrotek shows a cookie banner asking for consent before any non-essential cookie is set. Two categories of non-essential cookies may be used:
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — help us understand which articles and resources are useful, and how visitors move through the site.
Ad personalization cookies (Google AdSense) — used, where ads are shown, to serve ads that are more relevant to you based on your browsing activity, rather than generic ads.
You can accept or decline these cookies from the banner, and change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. Declining does not block access to any content.
Third-party services
Nastrotek uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy: Google Analytics (site analytics), Google AdSense (advertising, where enabled), GitHub Discussions (article comments), and Vercel (hosting).
These providers may set their own cookies or use device identifiers as part of providing their service. Nastrotek does not sell visitor data to third parties.
Your choices and rights
You can decline analytics and ad personalization cookies at any time from the cookie banner or the "Cookie settings" footer link — declining stops future tracking cookies from being set for that purpose.
You can ask Nastrotek to review, correct, or delete personal data collected through email or a resource order by contacting nastrotek.admin@gmail.com.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies directly in browser settings, and Google provides its own opt-out controls for ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
Children's privacy
Nastrotek is a technical/maker-focused site not directed at children, and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the site changes, for example when a new analytics or advertising provider is added. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
