Advertisement hex
How to use this parser
Purpose
Use this tool to inspect raw BLE advertisement payloads captured from a sniffer or scanner, break them into individual AD structures, and decode the common types without doing it by hand.
Main steps
- 1Paste the advertisement hex payload into the input box. Spaces, commas, or a continuous string are all accepted.
- 2The parser walks the bytes as [Length | Type | Data] AD structures and decodes each one it recognizes: Flags, Local Name, Service UUIDs, TX Power, and Manufacturer Specific Data.
- 3If the payload matches an iBeacon or Eddystone frame, the matching UUID, major/minor, TX power, or URL is extracted automatically.
- 4Switch between the Structured, JSON, and C Struct tabs to see the same data in different forms, and copy or download whichever one you need.
- 5Use the example button to load a sample iBeacon payload if you want to see the parser in action first.
